There are some super-exciting performances, celebrations and music-making in store for anyone joining either Henley Choral Society or Henley Youth Choir in September 2022. We will be making the complete announcement of plans shortly but the 2022 – 23 season promises to be one of the best yet – and that’s in the face of a lot of competition from previous years!
If you know a youngster aged 7-17 who enjoys singing, then do encourage them to come and be part of Henley Youth Choir. There are NO AUDITIONS! The Junior Youth Choir for 7-11 year olds meets Thursdays at 5.30pm to 6.15pm at d:two, Market Place, Henley, and the Senior Youth Choir for 12-17 year olds meets Thursdays at 6.30pm to 7.15pm. The new term starts September 8th with both groups singing a wide mix of music from classical to contemporary pop across a number of concerts and events in the year. Henley Choral Society is planning a very special year. Chair Tim Wilson says: ‘we would love to have new members join us in September 2022 so that they can be with us for our very exciting 50th anniversary year. There are NO auditions. Many of our members have previous experience in choirs or choral societies and know that singing is fun, good for your mental and physical health and there is nothing so thrilling as taking part in a concert to a packed audience.
