In a first for HCS, Monday September 28th saw the first combined live and online rehearsal. HCS members who were happy to meet at d:two were able to do so under strict conditions of small groups, social distancing and sanitising and hygiene measures. Those who wanted to continue to join online via Zoom were able to see and hear Musical Director Peter Asprey’s instructions and conducting and – for the first time since lockdown – hear regular accompanist David Smith as he returned to live rehearsal. Members agreed that the new mixed rehearsals worked really well and were very appreciative of all the work put in by committee members to make it happen.
