Time of concerts to be confirmed.

Like all amateur choirs we have been unable to have consistent all-choir live rehearsals or to perform since March 2020. We have been keeping busy and in tune with Zoom rehearsals led by our indefatigable Musical Director Peter Asprey. We hope to return to full rehearsals in September 2021 and the following events and concerts.

Saturday Oct 9th: Brahms Ein Deutsche Requiem Come & Sing Workshop, St Mary’s Church, Henley

A chance for all singers to get together and experience working on this sublime, humane and uplifting work (even the fiendish fugues.)  We’ll be inviting singers from Oxon, Bucks, Berks and beyond to join us under the brilliant baton of Peter Asprey and the supreme talents of our HCS and HYC accompanists David Smith and Anita D’Attellis.  If you have always wanted to join HCS then what are you waiting for? This will be a great opportunity to try us out in a day of music-making. Score hire available. And there will be cake. Lots of cake.
