Fabulous music and singing opportunities in 2024
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary last year with an incredible schedule of events, including the world premiere of a new composition specially commissioned by Henley Choral Society from internationally renowned British composer, Cecilia McDowall, and the very first Henley Big Sing, where over 300 people of all ages came and sang their hearts out.
In 2024 we are continuing our innovative programming with a wonderful concert of music by British composers written between 1916 and 1945 on themes of peace, service and sacrifice, which is also raising money for the Royal British Legion. We continue to support a love of singing and music in young people and children through our free memberships, ticket concessions, bursaries and Youth Choirs. If you want to help us spread the joy of singing and choral music, please become a Friend of Henley Choral Societyhere.
New members are welcome to join us at any time. NO AUDITIONS! To find out more, please call Membership Secretary Wendy Hawkins: 01491 576929. We rehearse on Monday evenings, 7.30pm, d:two, Marketplace, Henley. We hope to see you soon.
